Peace Pagoda
Perched in the hill of the Jalsaghar hills, the peace pagoda also known as Japanese Pagoda is a sacred stupa made by a Buddhist monk of Japan, Nichidatsu Fuji in the year 1972. The stupa was built to promote peace and harmony among all the religions of the world. The pagoda is surrounded by a beautiful garden that offers a stunning view of the Himalayas.
Ghoom Monastery
One of the most visited tourist attractions of the city, the Ghoom monastery is one of the oldest monasteries of Darjeeling that was built in 1850. Situated at a height of 8000 ft, the monastery is known for housing the 15 ft statue of Maitreya Buddha and is the centre of attraction among tourists.
Nightingale Park
