To date, Sikkim does not have any railway lines within the state boundary. However, the state railway line is under construction located between Sevoke and Rangpo which will be going to start operating from 2024.
Reaching Sikkim by road is one of the best ways to travel. Although the state is located in the hilly areas the state can be easily travelled through roadways with local taxis or private busses.
